Had a chance to go to a sports card show this weekend and add some great names on some good pieces.
John Rocker signed a ball. Rocker was dominant for a brief time while playing for the Braves. Controversial and not someone who does a lot of public appearances, Rocker is a pretty sweet add to my collection.
Zane Smith signed a ball as well. Zane pitched for the Braves from 1984–1989 and was a great pitcher during that. He went on to pitch for a lot of other clubs and had a pretty decent career. Very nice guy and a sweet addition to my collection.
Ron Bloomberg signed a mini bat. He was baseball’s first DH. He signed the bat with his name and added the inscription “First A.L. DH” with the date “4/6/73” – He was a super friendly guy and a cool part of MLB History.
Also picked up a Jarrod Parker Bowman Chrome auto. Jarrod had a hell of a year last year and looks like he could be a hell of a superstar. Picked it up from a dealer at a great price and am pretty happy to add it to my collection.
