A NFL Hall of Famer, some Braves and a Texan rookie

Ernie Stautner is my 235th Hall of Fame NFL rookie.  I still lack 52 rookies and  this project is only getting tougher and more and more expensive. But progress is progress, and i’m thrilled to finally add Mr. Stautner to my collection.

Johnny Sain was a dominant pitcher who is a member of the Braves team Hall of Fame.  I’ve been making Braves pickups when I can, and Sain is without a doubt a heck of an addition and one of my top needs.

Bob Elliott was a three time All Star for the Braves, and a key member of that team in the late 40’s and early 50’s. Elliott was a great addition to my project, and although the card is a bit rough looking, its certainly not bad for a card from 1948!

Deandre Hopkins is the current #2 WR for the Texans and a former 1st Round pick. He’s been having a great season for the Texans and i figured i’d have to pick him up before he became an expensive need like Andre Johnson or JJ Watt. The Texans have been a mixed bag this season, but Deandre has been largely positive.
